Chase Card Services said that the Ink Plus card for businesses was changing its points system to increase the benefits for customers. The firms stated that users could get five points for each dollar spent.

“We are continually enhancing our products and services to meet the changing needs of small businesses,” said Richard Quigley, president of Ink from Chase. “Ink Plus joins the existing Ink product line-up that includes InkSM Classic, Ink CashSM andInk BoldSM, and offers premium travel rewards. Small business owners can choose the card that best suits their purchasing habits, all while earning rewards on the everyday spend of their business.”

The financial institution, which handles merchant services-related operations, made headlines for more negative reasons in recent days. ABC News reported that the firm will pay $100 to settle a claim that it illegally raised fees on customers.
