According to a recent report, Discover Financial Services took home the No. 1 spot when it comes to having a secure website for merchant services.
Forrester Research released its “2012 U.S. Credit Card Secure Website Rankings,” which ranked Discover as its leading brand from six companies studied. The firm scored 80 out of 100 overall, and got a 91 in the online servicing category.
The leadership of the brand said that it was pleased to be recognized for the effort.
“Offering a best-in-class online experience for cardmembers is an extension of the exceptional customer service for which Discover is known,” said Mike Boush, vice president of e-business for Discover Financial Services. “The company is continuously recognized for such achievements and has been ranked #1 in customer loyalty among leading credit card brands for the past 16 years by Brand Keys.
There are other good signs for Discover, with profits expected to increase. In an interview with the Medill School, Moshe Orenbuch, an analyst with Credit Suisse, said that he believed “Discover will be doing better than the industry as a whole,” in the future.Back To Blog
