According to the Incentive Research Foundation (IRF), this year the gift of choice for many businesses will be a prepaid reward card. In fact, the foundation reports that they are the most popular present among consumers shopping for friends and relatives as well as the tool of choice for businesses hoping to motivate employees, customers and partners.
An IRF survey found that 44 percent of respondents said that prepaid cards are their favorite type of gift or reward. Additionally, when offered a prepaid card or equivalent cash, five times as many respondents chose a prepaid card.
As the holiday season approaches, many business owners may keep these findings in mind.
