According to one recent report, online shoppers were looking for more during their digital commerce experience.
The recently released ForeSee 2011 Holiday E-Retail Satisfaction index found that consumers logged onto various brands’ sites, trying to find more information and the highest quality products around, USA Today reports. In addition, many sought free shipping, and 56 percent of all merchant services delivered on that promise.
One of the most popular platforms on which people shopped this year was at Amazon, which topped ForeSee’s consumer satisfaction survey. Industry insiders say that the high rating for the site wasn’t surprising given its stellar reputation for merchant services.
“They are masters at satisfying the customer and the customer experience,” says Vicki Cantrell, executive director of Shop.org, a part of the National Retail Federation, in an interview with the news source.
There was other good news for the Fortune 500 company this holiday season. Amazon stated that it had sold more than 4 million Kindles during December, its best figure ever.Back To Blog
