A new mobile credit card processing solution will make its services available to users of Blackberrys.
In a statement, PayAnywhere stated that it would be making its application available on the Research in Motion smartphone at its BlackBerry App World. The firm said that it would be giving merchants access to 24-hour customer support that will answer any questions regarding implementation. The service seeks to make the merchant services operation easier for users of the phone.
“One in six U.S. smartphone users rely on BlackBerry, with the majority of them using their phones for business purposes,” said Marc Gardner, founder, president and CEO of PayAnywhere. “PayAnywhere is committed to helping business prosper by offering the most complete set of tools and features, simplifying the transaction process and arming merchants with business intelligence and enterprise-grade support.”
Some of the biggest payment processing firms in the country are hoping to profit from the credit card processing system. MasterCard recently unveiled its PayPass, which will allow mobile phone users to pay with devices instead of plastic.Back To Blog
