A recent conference gave those in the credit card processing industry the chance to come together and discuss relevant topics to improve business operations.

The NEBA Client Conference took place in Tampa over a two-day period and featured a number of panels examining the future of merchant services technology, making sure that the process was secure and what tools were needed to make tasks more efficient. Those in attendance said that the meeting had been worth the time.

“The 2012 NEBA Client Conference was truly motivating and very educational,” said Tina Smith, Vice President of United Bank in a NEBA release. “Payments technology is changing at a greater pace than expected and the roadmap presented at the conference provided insight that will help us get where we need to be.”

Some recent payment conferences have focused on the online gaming industry. In a recent panel entitled “Fraud Protection: Have we won?” representatives from iovation, which specializes in online fraud security, will look at ways to secure transactions.
