New mobile payment system introduced

Many merchants these days are looking to expand payment options by accepting transactions through mobile phones.

Many merchants these days are looking to expand payment options by accepting transactions through mobile phones. In one recent announcement, Vantiv released a new mobile application called Vantive Mobile Accept, which it says will give consumers and merchants alike a better way to process payments.

In a statement, the company’s chief product officer Bill Weingart said that it would be using the expanded merchant services technology would work for businesses looking to gain an advantage on competition.  

“Vantiv’s intuitive and powerful approach to mobile payment processing is an extension of our core services backed by the great support customers expect from Vantiv,” said Bill Weingart, chief product officer at Vantiv.  “We are extremely excited to offer Vantiv Mobile Accept and believe this is a product our merchants will find both valuable and simple to use to grow their business.”

Some of the most popular restaurant franchises have been implementing these types of systems at locations. T.G.I. Friday’s announced that it had come out with an improved mobile app that will allow guests to both pay for items
