Deploying a prepaid reward card is a great way to create customer loyalty and give back to valued patrons. Lufthansa German Airlines has recently announced enhancements to its eXperts card, a program designed to benefit international travel agents.
Members of the eXperts Agent Loyalty Program will now receive a prepaid reward card, powered by Citi, to receive offers for fares and perks, as well as redeem their benefits quickly and easily according the The Asset. This new system will replace the use of vouchers, and eligible individuals will be able to use their cards at any location that accepts MasterCard.
According to QSR Magazine, using prepaid reward cards is a good way for companies to reinforce loyalty and improve their customer service. Though eXperts may not target a wide audience of consumers in the same way that a restaurant or clothing retailer’s benefits services do, the program could potentially be used to gather information about members and improve outlooks on Lufthansa.
For now, Lufthansa is introducing the revamp in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia, but the airline plans to expand the program to include Malaysia and the Philippines in the future.Back To Blog
