More and more customers have been jumping on the ecommerece bandwagon, scooping up favorable deals using online credit card transactions. While some still prefer the in-person experience of testing out items in brick-and-mortar location[s], many in the younger generations have been adopting merchant services in a quicker way than their parents.
Twenty-five-year-old Cole Robertson couldn’t comprehend why some were so resistant when it came to paying for goods or services through the cloud-based system, according to a recent interview with the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
“Personally, I don’t understand why a lot of people don’t shop online more,” the Winona State University student told the paper.
Robertson also pointed out the advantages online merchants had over physical stores.
“The selection is broader, you can sit in your living room, and everything gets delivered to your doorstep,” Robertson explained.
Some consumers are still weary of online shopping sites due to security concerns. A survey by Javelin Strategy and Research revealed that four out of five respondents believed online outlets needed to do more to highlight security procedures.Back To Blog
