Technical BA/Project Manager – Mobile

The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for strategic mapping of business and architecture requirements to technical requirements for the Mobile Development team. These specifications will need to be precise and clear as the Technical Business Analyst will communicate these requirements to the Development and Quality Assurance teams. The Technical Business Analyst will also be responsible to drive the coordination of the team for the completion of projects on time and within budget.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering Technical Communications or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to communicate with architects and technical leaders to understand design decisions and create associated stories
  • Experience defining requirements for development and delivering SDK or API based products as well as UI products
  • Strong analytical skills to understand business requirements and decompose into granular level workflow requirements
  • Effective communication skills; listening, written and verbal; ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical team members
  • Think imaginatively and intuitively while quickly grasping and synthesizing new ideas
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment to solve business problems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently, but with a team focus

Essential Functions

  • Participate in customer meetings with Product Management to get a better understanding of Customer Ideas/Issues
  • Work effectively with Technical and Non-Technical team members
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
  • Define requirements for the EVO Snap* Mobile products/initiatives
  • Write Acceptance Criteria in a User Story format
  • Validate User Stories with Product Owners
  • Assume a product leadership role amongst the development team

Preferred Position Requirements

  • Knowledge of Agile practices
  • Experience with TFS or similar ticket tracking system
  • Previous Technical Writing experience
  • Previous planning and organizational experience

Working Conditions

  • Office environment.
  • Must be able to speak audibly and intelligibly on the telephone and in person
  • Must be able to manipulate (manual dexterity) a telephone headset, calculator, and computer keyboard, paperwork, etc.
  • Must be able to see to read related documentation
  • Must be able to establish and maintain productive, positive and cooperative relationships with ISOs, co-workers, and vendors
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends as necessary based on business needs
  • Must be able to travel domestically

Organizational Relationships

Reports to the EVO Snap Manager, Technical Business Analysis.  Interface with internal customers and technical groups.
