Michele German has joined Sterling Payment Technologies as Executive Director of Marketing. Ms. German is responsible for corporate advertising, marketing communications strategy and strategic branding.

Sterling Payment Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce that Michele German has joined the company as Executive Marketing Director. Ms. German is responsible for corporate advertising, marketing communications strategy and strategic branding, and will work with an in-house creative team and outside specialty marketing companies.

“We are excited to have someone with Michele’s breadth of experience join our growing company,” said Paul Hunter, President and CEO of Sterling. “This recent addition to the Sterling family demonstrates our commitment to hiring high-caliber experts who are passionate about satisfying our customers and dedicated to growing our merchant services business. “

Ms. German brings more than 25 years of experience in customer support, product management, business development, sales and marketing from the banking and telecommunications industries to her new position.

Most recently, Ms. German worked as the Senior Account Executive and Project Manager for Cherry+Company, an integrated marketing and advertising company specializing in corporate branding and strategic communications.

During her 12-year career with Syniverse Technologies, she held various positions in wireless product management, new business development and marketing communications. While with Bank of America, Ms. German served as the Area Marketing Manager, supporting seven bank branches.

Ms. German earned a B.A. in Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany and an MBA from the University of South Florida.

“I look forward to working closely with Sterling’s sales and product management team on the launch of several exciting new products designed to position Sterling for future growth and success in merchant services,” said Ms. German.
