Payment System Means Faster Concession Lines for Midland RockHounds Fans
Bridge™, combined with a SAM4s electronic cash register, provides an all-in-one payment solution.
Fans at the home field of the Midland RockHounds won’t have to choose between getting refreshments and missing plays, thanks to the recent installation of Bridge Business Intelligence (Bridge™), a payment solution developed by Sterling Payment Technologies.
Bridge™, combined with a SAM4s electronic cash register, provides an all-in-one payment solution that allows stadium concessions to accept all payment types, sell more in less time, and allows users to access real-time sales data and change pricing remotely on their smart phones or tablets.
The Midland RockHounds have a loyal fan base and a seating capacity of 4,709. The team drew a franchise record of 317, 233 during the 2013 season.
With two-second transaction speeds – faster than a cash transaction – Bridge moves fans through lines quickly, resulting in more concession sales in less time. That, and the ability to change pricing from mobile devices, has resulted in stadium concession sales increasing an average of 15 percent, and up to 25 percent.
The Midland RockHounds join a growing list of Minor League, Spring Training and college baseball teams that are using Bridge as their payment solution for ticket sales, concessions and merchandise.
